Buttercrunch describes this lettuce very well, the buttery, velvety leaves of a typical butterhead but with a slight crispy, crunchy mouthfeel. So, if you like the flavor of a butter lettuce with a firmer mouthfeel, this is the one. Handles a little heat, but definitely prefers the cooler weather.
