This rare heirloom hails from Kenya. Also known as Swahili Kijiru It is a very productive semi-bush type bean that is best suited for drying. The beans themselves are a beauty to behold with the speckled purple and a stunning shimmery undertone. Surprisingly, this Kenyan bean does exceptionally well in shorter, cooler climate.
This bean is visually similar to the Solwezi Dry but is a slightly smaller bean.
