Italian Large Leaf Basil has the largest leaves of all the basil varieties. The flavor is somewhat milder and sweeter than the smaller leaved varieties. This is a lovely variety to use fresh in salads, in cooked dishes or to dry for later use. Pinch off the flowers as they form to extend the harvest period.
