Oh what a joy this plant is to grow. The flowers with their sweet heady scent are a showy and the plant will put on a dispaly to behold. The name comes from it's use as a medicinal plant by indigenous Africans and weary travelers. The leaves are used for blister relief on man and horses as well as making a tea for headaches and chest ailments.
This creeper grows well from seed or cuttings and is well worth the effort to cultivar. Will do well in a large pot.
