This is a remarkable tomato variety developed by Dr. Harold E. Martin (1888-1959) in the late 1920s. Originally a dentist, Dr. Martin transitioned to plant breeding and is renowned for his exceptional pole lima beans featuring large seeds.
This particular tomato plant yields an abundance of large, deep red-purple-black fruits, celebrated for their sweet and earthy flavor profile. Ideal for a wide range of culinary uses, this variety is an excellent addition to any home garden.
