Phaseolus vulgarus
A pole bean variety that got its name from where it was first grown, Chester, Vermont. Its name translates to skunk in Mohawk language, and looking at the seeds it's easy to see why. This variety is also known as Flagg & Chester, Skunk bean and Flaff pole.
It is a very productive dry and green bean that shells and cooks easily.
