This pumpkin is so awesome, that once you have grown it, it will become staple in your home. A true South African heirloom, Wit Boer Pumpkin is a flattish, ribbed, white skinned pumpkin with a dense, rich, buttery textured flesh that holds together exceptionally well when cooked.

In rural Africa these pumpkins are stored on the roof, keeping for many months. We've had pumpkins keep for up to six months, without losing the superior flavor and texture they are renowned for.
