 This melon is most unusual. At first glance it looks like it is some weird cross between a banana and a papaya. The light green-grey skin turns an orange-yellow as it ripens. The flesh is sweet with hints of banana and cantaloupe. Fruits can get to 16-20" (40-50cm) long and weigh between 4-7lb (2-3kg). Lift fruit off the ground to help prevent rotting.
