Cucurbita maxima
This squash is an Amish variety grown by Amish gardeners in the Maryland mountains and introduced to us by James Robinson. An excellent baking squash, with a bright orange flesh that is moist and sweet. They are a large, slightly oval variety, with a pale orange colored skin, that can get up to 75lb (34kg).
