This variety is very versatile both in the type of soils it can grow in as well as coping well with warmer and cooler weather. The round shaped roots are a beautiful deep crimson, with a fine, dense flesh that is sweet and tasty. Performs very well for fresh eating, as a pickler and also freezes well.
