Superb bushes that produce masses of pods. The pod production is impressive, as are the pods themselves.
Perfect for use as stuffers with a heat that is just above the average jalapeno. Cutting them open and removing the seed and placenta will drop the heat and bring out the flavors.
We find that as with any pepper that will be used for stuffing, One should pick them and allow them to sit out on the counter for a few days so that the skins lose their turgidity, this will allow you to cut and peel the skins back without them cracking, allowing for easier de-fuzing and stuffing.
