Multi Color Broom Corn
Growing to well over 10' tall this sorghum produces naturally colored stems.
This sorghum makes a great feature in the garden and can be planted as a wild bird food or to harvest the seed branches (panicles) to crafts.
The seeds are attached to the panicle branches and are easily dislodged by a light threshing. The brushes are tied together in a multitude of different ways to make long lasting craft brooms.
The seed is edible and is used in any traditional grain, flour or brewing application.
