What a fun variety to grow. Pakistan White Shooter originates from the Middle East and is a truly ancient variety. Thy get their name from the way that they dry; the pods curl under tension as they dry and when the tension gets too much, the pods literally shoot their little white beans up to 10' (3m). Be careful when harvesting these dried pods as they can literally explode in your hand. Grown mainly for the dried beans, this bean holds its own in most cooked dishes and is extensively grown and used in Pakistan.
