Savoy Perfection
Brassica oleracea
A beautifully savoyed drumhead cabbage. The flavor is sweet and full and can be enjoyed raw as well as cooked. The savoyed leaves really add texture and and variety to a salad or coleslaw. When cooked, the sweet and mild flavor is still prevalent, without that well known cabbage odor.
We find this one of the better varieties to use in coleslaw, especially if you go light on the mayo to bring out the flavors.
