Yellow Scallop Squash

The yellow scallop is the heirloom version of the tasteless hybrid scallop squash that is available at your local supermarket. Most commonly eaten very young, we prefer to grow them out to at least 5"in diameter when they become really flavorsome. Bears like the blazes, having a few plants would probably have you handing out squashes to anyone that looks vaguely interested.
